UAE brings back around 500 residents, Golden Visa holders after airspace closures
MoFA and NCEMA coordinate air and land entry operations
DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has facilitated the return of around 500 Golden Visa holders and residents who had been stranded abroad due to disruptions in global aviation.
The operation was carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, ensuring safe entry into the country through both air and land entry points. Their travel had previously been affected by regional developments that led to airspace closures and interruptions to international flight schedules.
Authorities said the coordinated efforts form part of the UAE’s wider approach to safeguarding the wellbeing of all who live in the country.
